Adrenaline opens with Dennis Black in the middle of the ring with a sledgehammer in his hands, standing over what was left of the World Championship that he won on Thanksgiving. It had been smashed to pieces for the live audience before the show went on air. They chanted for Mike Diamond nonstop. 

Dennis: Chant him all you want, there’s nothing he can do for you people. Hell, I don’t even deserve the shouts that I get. To play off a famous quote in wrestling history….”Mike screwed Mike.” He ignored Haku, the longest reigning champion in the company to date. The highest form of disrespect that you can give another man. I had that match won anyway…but I don’t blame Haku. Diamond did this to himself. Haku only sweetened the moment.

Dennis grinned as the boos became louder. 

Dennis: But enough about him. Today marks the rebirth of Adrenaline and to be honest…the VWF. A new legacy begins tonight. As your FIRST VWF World Champion…

Dennis paused, letting it sink in as the audience boos even more. 

Dennis: We will usher in a new beginning as I take on Santos  tonight, and I will be out of here with our NEW World Championship. One befitting of the legacy that I will create. 2024 is looking to be a great year for VWF. VWF universe! The stockholders are very excited now that I’ve resumed my spot at the top of this brand new company. As for Ignition…well…Golden will fix that soon enough.

Dennis paused. 

Dennis: Thank me.

The audience boos as Dennis leaves the ring and walks up the ramp. 

Daniel  vs  Sexton

As the show returns from commercial break a visibly upset Mike Diamond stands in the ring with a microphone in his hand about to address the VWF fans.

Diamond: Let me start off by apologizing. I take this loss to Dennis Black very seriously because all of the signs were right in front of my face, but I missed it and that’s on me.

Diamond pauses to look around at the VWF fans in attendance locked into Diamond’s every word.

Diamond: For weeks Haku was calling me out, and for weeks I thought Black was the biggest threat to my championship at the time. So Black got my undivided attention. Black our story isn’t over, but it will be placed on a brief hold so I can handle some business.

The crowd fills the arena with Diamond chants.

Diamond: So Haku….. That just leaves you. That leaves you with my undivided attention. That leaves you and me destined to have a car crash. That leaves you to answer for your actions. So Haku I hope you are ready for a collision course set in motion by yourself because I will bring it to you like no one ever has.

The crowd explodes with cheers towards their beloved hero Mike Diamond.

Diamond: Haku I am free anytime you want. Why don’t you come into this ring right now and let me know when you want this to go down. I’m free right here right now! I don’t even have to change clothes.

Diamond waits patiently in the ring looking at his pretend watch around his wrist.

Diamond: Well Haku it appears you don’t have the courage to face me, so what I’m going to do is walk backstage right now and fight you. Then I will remind you why it is important to not start something that you don’t want finished.

Mike Diamond drops the microphone and walks up the ramp as the crowd goes crazy. The camera man is running after Diamond who is walking with a purpose. As he steps through the curtains he is met.by Asylum and Earl.

Earl: Hey Mike come on man calm down. You will get your hands on him eventually I promise you that.

Asylum: Yeah man, trust us from experience Haku is a very dangerous man. You don’t want to try to face him like this. You should calm down some before you have your encounter with Haku.

Mike looks at both men and calms down down now.

Diamond: I get that you both have experience wrestling this man. But I have experience fighting again at the odds myself. I have experience and know when others can become a casualty of my war. So for right now for both of your safety stay away from me until this is all over.

As Diamond goes to walk away Stephen Matthews is now in front of him.

Matthews: Diamond Haku isn’t scheduled to be here tonight. Why don’t you take the night off and relax. I am sure next week you both will be here and it will become my problem to have security on standby. I know you all to well to think anything less of you.

Diamond: Okay Matthews. Tonight I will leave but when I am done with Haku, he will regret ever wanting my attention. Haku when I am done with you the question that you will be asked is……….. Was it worth it?

Diamond walks off into the distance as Earl, Asylum, and Matthews watch on.

Poul  vs  Hayabusa

Asylum  vs  Ares

Poul is seen backstage pacing after his hard-fought match with Hayabusa. He stiffens up and tosses away his towel at the sight of Haku. 

Poul: Ah shit.

Poul balled his fists and got into a fighting stance. 

Haku merely grinned and shook his head. 

Haku: I ain’t come to fight. This time. Unless you wanna go another round?

Poul narrowed his eyes. 

Poul: I’ll fight anyone. Any time. Outcome doesn’t matter. Just the fight. I don’t care.

Haku: Same here. Always respected that about you. That’s why I’m here.

Poul titled his head and lowered his hands. 

Haku: You had many wars with Diamond. Both against him, and on his side. Not many know him better than you.

Poul: I guess. What’s it to you?

Haku: You know what makes him tick. I want to know all there is about him.

Poul: Why the hell would I do that?

Haku raised the Openweight Championship and Poul looked at it.

Haku: You seek violence. Stick with me, and it will come to you.

Poul folded his arms as the scene came to an end. 

MAIN EVENT

Santos  vs  Black

The camera sees Earl and Asylum walking to their car together to hit the road.

Earl: Hey Migo I got to run back to the locker room real quick I forgot my meds and you know how I get when I’m not on them.

Asylum: Yeah for real Migo. Want me to come with you?

Earl: Nah I will grab them real quick and be right back. Just get the car warm it’s starting to get cold around here.

Earl walks away from Asylum while he walks towards the car.
