The Hallows Eve Massacre opens with Dennis Black standing in the center of the ring. He looks down at his waist and rubs the VWF World Heavyweight Championship.

Dennis: When I think of an event such as tonight, with men vying for the right to become a Champion, I’m reminded that the only thing standing in their way is…well…themselves.

Dennis: You see, Wrestlers often lose their matches before the music hits. Before they even hit the ring. fifty percent of this business is believing in your truth. Knowing your truth.

Dennis pauses.

Dennis: What I’ve known from the moment that I put on a pair of boots is that I…am  the best. The countless wins, the accolades, and the records ensure that I will go down as the greatest to ever do it. Even with all of that…there’s something i’ve yet to do. Something I ‘need’ to do.

Dennis leans in to the camera.

Dennis: I know you’re watching. I know you know who i’m talking about. You and I, have unfinished business. Business that is bigger than anything I’ve ever achieved. I won’t rest until I have it.

Dennis drops the mic as his music hits, leaving the VWF universe to wonder…

Kent is in motion to cut his music, he grabs a mic from one of the stage hands then returns to center ring.

KL: Scott Diamond is a coward, worse than that he’s a parasite!

Some cheers from the crowd can be heard.

KL: Now let me explain. Golden Age was a brotherhood. We discussed everything from goals to our women. I had firmly said once my tag run was over I’m going for one of the big titles. Everyone liked it from Black all the way down to little Scott. But what did Scott do? He weaseled his way into my title picture, he won the title and to cap it all off he stole my tag partner!

Kent looks around to a crowd slowly getting behind him.

KL: Scott you were teaming with Dennis! You had to take Larry from me too? After all of that I took a step back and thought. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery they say, but this goes a bit further than that. It’s like he was trying to replace me! But Scott you Forgot one thing, there’s only one “Marvelous” Kent Lassiter. Sure you took my title, sure you took my tag partner but the next time I get my hands on you I rectify one of those problems, that world title is coming home with me!

He turns and hands back the mic and once he looks back at the entrance ramp. The crowd boos as Scott comes from behind Kent and hits him with a steel chair repeatedly. The announcer drops the mic and leaves the ring as Scott bends over to grab the mic.

Scott: Cry me a freaking river.

Scott sets up the chair across Kent’s throat as he sits on it looking down at Kent.

Scott: Kent you sit here and blame everyone except the one person that needs to be blamed…….. yourself. You failed several attempts to gain this championship. You are a fool if you think anyone is going to ever take you seriously.

The crowd boos louder.

Scott: Kent you were always the last on the pecking order, or are you now just getting this memo? Right after I debuted my rank went way up while yours just simply stayed the same. You were always that guy that we could count on to fail us. I am a multi time world champion, tag team champion, I am one of the greatest to ever do this, and you know I will do anything to hold this.

Kent is coughing trying to move the chair from his throat but can’t. Scott takes the world championship and throws it on his face and Kent stops.

Scott: I’m feeling generous though. Kent just to watch you fail once again, I will allow you one more chance. Me versus you and that championship will be on the line Kent. Bring your all because I don’t want another excuse from you. It is time for Golden Age to finally move on from you.

Scott stands up grabbing his championship and holds it high above a knocked out Kent as the crowd boos.
