📰 Official Statement on the Future of Elite Online Wrestling

There has been a lot of speculation regarding the return of Elite Online Wrestling (EoW)—and it’s time to set the record straight.

While EoW remains an important part of our legacy, it now exists in name and history only. Like anything else in life, evolution is necessary. We honor our past, but we’re not bound by it. The league must continue to grow, adapt, and push forward into a new era. Beyond that, we will honor past superstar and their accomplishments as seen with the inductions of Zachary Raiden, Devin King, David Jackson and Randy Crowe this year.

🔁 What’s Returning from EoW

• Rush and Fusion are officially back as our weekly shows, serving as the backbone of storytelling and competition.

• Select championships from EoW will also return, bringing prestige and continuity to the new era.

This is a call to action:
Let’s push the league forward together. Get more involved, pitch creative ideas, and think of new ways we can elevate the competition. Whether it’s building rivalries, proposing stipulations, or helping improve our structure—your input matters.

🔄 Weekly Show Update – Return of Rush & Fusion

Big changes are here!

Rush and Fusion have officially returned from the past and will now serve as the primary weekly shows moving forward. With this update, Adrenaline and Ignition will be shelved indefinitely.

📺 What This Means:

• Rush and Fusion are now the main platforms for all weekly action, promos, and story progression.

• Championships will still remain show-specific, so title prestige and lineage continue uninterrupted.

• However, the roster is no longer exclusive to one show—talent can appear on either Rush or Fusion.

🎮 Gameplay Rules & Balancing Update

🔧 Default Overall Rating Adjustment

• Previous: 90 Overall (Champion Buff: 92)

• New Setting: 90 Overall remains unchanged, but Champion Buff reduced to 91

  • Rationale: To maintain balance and encourage competitive parity while still rewarding titleholders.

❌ Finisher & Signature Usage Update

• No Finishers or Signatures are allowed within a regular moveset.

  • Wrestlers must earn their finishers and signatures during a match; abusing them from the base set is now officially prohibited.

  • This keeps the pacing competitive, realistic, and focused on storytelling within the squared circle.

🚫 OMG Moments Regulation

• All OMG Finishers are now banned

  • This includes barricade spears, top rope RKO counters, and corner ladder dives.

  • Purpose: Prevent spam mechanics and maintain fairness across playstyles.

🔁 Veteran Move Claim Policy

• Wrestlers who are inactive for 6 months or more will lose rights to any claimed moves, unless they:

  • Appear in at least 5 events within that 6-month window.

• This ensures the move pool remains fresh and accessible for active competitors, while giving legends a clear path to hold their legacy if they stay involved.

⛔ Newly Banned Move (stay tuned for more)

• Punt Kick

  • Banned effective immediately due to overuse, unrealistic impact, and lack of counter opportunities.

  • Alternatives must be submitted for approval if a superstar currently uses this move in their arsenal.
