Adrenaline opened up as Madison approached Dennis apprehensively from behind and cleared her throat. 

Madison: So…I was unable to find-

Dennis quickly turned around and hugged Madison. 

Madison: Um!

Madison’s face turned red. 

Madison: I wasn’t able to find-

Dennis: What ever you’re about to say, forget about it. Don’t even worry. We’ve got reason to celebrate tonight.

Madison: We…do?

Dennis: Dennis Black…Mike Diamond, WrestlElite. I can’t WAIT.

Madison: OH! right. So you don’t need Scott anymore?

Dennis: Nope.

Dennis released Madison and walked off as he whistled the WrestlElite theme. 

Madison: ….Good luck to me?

Madison* v Jade

The camera opens up with Mike Diamond standing in the ring with the crowd changing his name before he starts to speak.

Diamond: Every week I get to hear that it is a feeling that I cannot describe that I get. For over two decades I have come into this ring and I have earned the respect of everyone in attendance tonight, and a friend or enemy in the back will all tell you the same thing. They will all tell you that when your name appears next to Mike Diamond you better be prepared to get out in that ring and work your ass off to even stand a Chance against me!

The crowd let’s put a thunderous roar.

Diamond: When your name is paired against or with mine, just know that all eyes are on that match. Everyone knows I will steal the show every chance that I get and that is a fact because of all the damn names that line up in that back room to face me. Guys from the past that aren’t here anymore such as Jacob Williams.

We miss Jacob chants pour in from the crowd.

Diamond: I miss that man for sure. But we have another guy that all of you loved named Zac Taylor.

Zac, Zac, Zac, Zac chants fill the arena.

Diamond: How do we feel about one of my first post championship rivals in Krash?

Krash chants fill the arena.

Diamond: Or better yet that sick degenerate of a man that did take my girl and I’m still sitting here yelling and cursing at him in Seb Abott!

Seb Seb Seb Seb Seb!

Diamond: But then we have some of the guys that are still around, such as Briggs.

Mixed chants for Briggs fill the arena.

Diamond: Now guys let me rattle off a bunch of names before you react. We have guys like Amir, Poul, Byrd, Earl, Asylum, Daniel, Baine, Kent, and finally the man that really wants to be on the show of shows with me……. Dennis freaking Black.

Boos come from the crowd.

Diamond: Love him or hate him, you have to admit he is one damn good wrestler. There are many amazing rivalries that are talked about in professional wrestling, and I can proudly say that I am part of several of them but nothing ever compares to what Dennis Black brings out in me.

Yes chants fill the arena.

Diamond: And tonight we have ourselves a gauntlet eliminator match. Tonight after I beat the other four individuals, everyone gets the match they want. Everyone gets to see Wrestle Elites ten headlined by Dennis Black versus Mike Diamond. Arguably the two biggest names on the Wrestle Elite stage face off against each other for a fin……

Before he can finish his sentence the crowd boos as Scott Diamond steps onto the stage with a big smile on his face.

Scott: You dumb old man. I sat in the back and listened to you list off many of the great names you have been in the ring with and it seems you forgot about my name. The man that beat you in the past. The man that will end your career before you even possibly face Black.

The crowd chants you suck Scott as Mike just watches from the ring.

Scott: You honestly sit there and talk about you and Dennis Black being the most known names in regards to Wrestle Elite. You honestly sit there and act like this show is designed for the both of you to have one last dance, but let’s look at reality for a minute here. Wrestle Elite is my show. Scott Diamond is the man that runs that show. You see most of those names on that list have suffered the wrath of me on my way to being nine and zero on that stage. Just look at those names and not a single one was ever the same after I beat them on my show!

Diamond stares at Scott intensely.

Scott: Jacob Williams, where are you at? Zac Taylor and his brother Beaux both went MIA. Amir is just a mid carder now. Showtime seems to be hanging in there, but maybe that PTSD will set in when he steps on that stage this year once again. Are you getting the point yet? Those that challenge me end up losing and never ever being the same again. You can sit in that ring and adamantly be looking past me, but believe me when I say I will be the one to beat you. I will be the name that will forever be tied to ending the career of the drunk standing in that ring, and I will have a smile on my face when the bell sounds and my hand is held high knowing that nothing else will ever matter.

Scott tosses the mic on the ground and stares right at Mike as the camera fades to black.

Ares is spotted back stage preparing for his gauntlet match

Reporter: Ares how do you feel going ahead into this gauntlet match up do you feel you can win from any spot and do you fear anyone in this match up?

Ares : let me start with the insulting part of your idiotic question do I fear anyone in the match absolutely not! I’m going to win from any spot I get put in the ring and I will be coming for the man holding it !

Ares throws the mic away from him and walks off angry

Earl vs Asylum vs Phoenix vs Gunnar

After the match ends Earl and Asylum continue to brawl inside the cage.

Ahmed is pacing back and forth backstage antsy for the gauntlet eliminator match tonight. Ricky Spanish approaches him.

Ricky: Ahmed, tonight you step foot in the ring with four other superstars to do battle to face Dennis Black. Many people say Mike Diamond is the odds on favorite to win tonight, so do you have any thoughts?

Ahmed: Mike Diamond has been here and done it all. He is a mega star for damn sure, but my name is Ahmed and I am the man taking VCW by storm! Last week I got the privilege of beating his son, this week I have no problem beating the dad, he’ll bring back his cousin and I’ll beat him if I need to.

Ahmed looks at Ricky.

Ahmed: Let’s talk about the others in tonight’s match. We have Ares, a man that I’ve had a few battles with. A man that I never have a problem going to war with. A man that after tonight will be another man with spoiled dreams by my hands.

Then we have Sexton. Look you be you, but you do it on your time, not when you’re on my time. Sexton you will need more than anything you can offer tonight if you think you got what it takes to keep me down.

Then we got Fenrir. A monster here amongst men. But Fenrir you are going to find out that I can knock anyone down no matter their size. Tonight you will get your wish and be sent to Valhalla if I need to send you there you can bank on that.

Ahmed looks right at Ricky and then back at the camera.

Ahmed: You see tonight I will stamp my ticket into Wrestle Elite. Tonight I will be the man that gets to face Dennis Black for the championship. And tonight I will be the man to shatter a Diamond just to show the world that Ahmed is up there with the best. And no I’m not arrogant, I am just confident in my own abilities. I’ll see you all out there boys.

Ahmed walks away from Ricky as the camera fades to black.

Backstage the camera catches up with Fenrir who is preparing for the gauntlet eliminator match later tonight.

Fenrir: The gods have bestowed me this great war tonight. I can fufill a long talked prophecy when I enter the Great War and I am victorious.

Fenrir stops working out and looks at the camera.

Fenrir: In the arena where many wars are finished, I will step foot in the ring to do battle with any superstars that think they have what it takes to send me to Valhalla. Many of my ancestors are there right now awaiting my arrival to welcome me past the gates and let me enter the Great hall for unlimited drinking and partying along with many epic fights. Tonight I will not go willingly but if I am sent there it will be an epic battle that sends me along my path.

Fenrir walks past the camera as it fades to black.

The camera picks up at a locker room door where you can hear moaning coming from. A scared Ricky Spanish doesn’t want to knock at the door as the moaning gets louder. Eventually he knocks at the door and it opens revealing Sexton Hardcastle. He is sweating but at least has his clothes on.

Sexton: You knocked handsome?

Ricky swallows hard as he stares at Sexton rubbing his own chest with his bottom lip curled.

Sexton: Well if you don’t wanna talk all you gotta do is open your mouth and we can settle on something to do with it instead.

Ricky slowly backs away from Sexton.

Sexton: Hey now if you don’t wanna be seen as gay all you have to do is pull down your pants and shut your eyes and I’ll handle everything for you, and that won’t make you gay in the slightest.

Ricky drops the mic and runs away down the hall.

Sexton: Well I guess I’ll have to wait until later tonight when I get into that gauntlet eliminator match to see the real men go hard. And then after that I will get to face the hardest man of them all, Dennis Black.

Sexton can be seen rubbing his chest and slowly going down to his stomach. Sexton slowly starts to go lower as he is saying Black’s name as the camera instantly cuts off air.
