Mike Diamond is in the ring with a rowdy crowd changing his name.

Diamond: Tonight I am here to talk about the greatest spectacle we have in our company. It is slowly creeping its head around the corner. It’s constantly getting closer and closer. That feeling where I get to stand on the grandest stage of them all and steal the whole damn show.

The crowd chants Diamond is Elite over and over again.

Diamond: This is my damn show. Year in and year out I put on some of the most legendary matches. I have created so many unforgettable moments. On this stage I have become simply Elite!

The crowd is cheering as Mike continues to talk. Mike points to the announcers table.

Diamond: That is the spot where my bump went wrong and I split my head open ear to ear And went on to create one of the best Wrestle Elite matches ever in a three stages of hell match with Jacob Williams.

Mike points to the opposite side of the ring towards the entrance way.

Diamond: This spot right here is where I threw Amir through the cage and climbed over his body creating my first magical moment at this show.

Diamond points to the center of the ring.

Diamond: This spot right here is where I pinned several others through the years, wrestling some of the greatest names this sport has ever seen. And every year my name was up there as the man that stole the show. My name was and will always be known as the man that makes this show impossible to compete on without being compared to me. This show will forever be the show that my opponents get lost in the pressure of having to face me because they know they got a massive mountain to climb.

Scott Diamond steps on stage and gets booed out of the building as Mike just stares on from the ring. Scott waits a moment for the crowd to settle down before he speaks.

Scott: You think I’m supposed to be scared of your hollow threats? You honestly want to sit in the ring and tell me some guy is better than my great record? You wanna talk about guys from your past? Jacob Williams…… Check, Amir…… Check, Zac Taylor……. Check, Beaux….. Check, Blake Adams….. check, Showtime…… Check, and that is just naming a few. But the key difference is when I faced these guys…… I won just saying.

The crowd boos again as Scott just smiles.

Scott: You constantly say your show….. Your event……. You should mean this is the event for the guy that is literally Nine and zero. I have a damn perfect record all while competing against matches that weren’t in my favor like triple threat matches, and fatal fourway matches. Last year alone as the ironman of this company I wrestled night one in a fatal four way ironman match that was supposed to be my “hardest” match to date….. And I more than doubled all of my opponent scores combined! And then followed that up by retaining the tag championship with Lawrence.

You still suck chants pour in from the crowd.

Scott: All you losers are telling me that I suck? How original! Please let the adults speak from now on. Now back to you…….. You honestly think you’re going to be the one to end my streak? You honestly need to see a shrink if so old man.

Mike just smiles at Scott.

Diamond: So Scott, have you got confirmation from your guys that they think you can beat me? Black doesn’t want us to fight, he was adamantly upset that he didn’t get to fight me. What about your tag partner Lawrence? I see it in his eyes that you can’t beat me. Have you asked Madison? I bet she would say anything to get out of the room if you asked her. I am telling you right now that I will end your streak, not just because I say I will, but because your so-called friends are telling you that I will by not backing you.

Scott looks annoyed.

Diamond: Go ahead Scott. Go ask them. Or don’t if you don’t want to know the truth. But I’m calling it right now that at Wrestle Elite X Scott I will stand over your body, career intact and now with the nickname of streak killer added to my many accolades of my career. So believe what you want, but Scott be ready to be in the fight of your life real soon because you have never faced anyone that can match my intensity at Wrestle Elite!

Mike tosses the microphone up the ramp as Scott and Mike stare intensely at each other. The camera fades to black.

Asylum is seen backstage standing next to Haku. Haku smiles and prays toward Asylum as he speaks.

Asylum: Earl…. Earl….. Earl…… I told you that I was going to cause you severe pain. I told you that I was going to make you suffer all the way to Wrestle Elite. The same show that I beat you at just a few years back.

Asylum looks at Haku.

Asylum: And here he is. Your old enemy as well, the man that will continue to punish you with me on a weekly basis….. Haku did you enjoy hurting Earl again?

Haku let’s put a sadistic laugh. And shakes his head yes.

Asylum: Haku do you want to repeat this every week until Wrestle Elite?

Haku continues to shake his head yes.

Asylum: Earl there we have it. Next week you find anyone you want to be your partner and we will have no problem meeting you in that ring for a tag team match.

Asylum seems to walk away before he returns.

Asylum: If you can find any man dumb enough to cross our paths…. Otherwise show alone if you want us.

Asylum and Haku walk away as the camera fades.

After a hard fought match, an exhausted Ahmed signals for a microphone. Breathing heavy into the microphone he starts to talk.

Ahmed: First was your boy, your right hand man, a former heavyweight champion Scott Diamond.

Ahmed lowers the microphone for a second to take another deep breath as the crowd cheers for him.

Ahmed: Then it was surviving the first ever Gauntlet Eliminator this federation has held and beating the great, legendary Mike Diamond to book my ticket versus you Black.

Ahmed chants fill the arena as Ahmed catches his breath once again.

Ahmed: Now tonight I got to face your left hand man, a former tag team legend, a double champion, and I whooped his ass, Lawrence Larkspur.

The crowd ramps up their cheers for Ahmed.

Ahmed: What challenge awaits me on this road to Wrestle Elite huh? Do you know this has been a dream of mine and I’m doing whatever it takes to show everyone I deserve to headline the shows of shows.

Ahmed points to the Wrestle Elite X logo hanging above.

Ahmed: I started this run at the Royal Roulette when I poured my Blood, Sweat, and my damn tears in this arena and lasted until the final two.

The crowd continues to get behind Ahmed.

Ahmed: And now I can officially say I am going to live my damn dream and headline the biggest Wrestle Elite of all time against one of the best. So Black please stop overlooking me. Please stop looking past me like Mike did, like Scott did, like Lawrence did. Black I’m ready and the better question is…….. Are you?

Ahmed drops the microphone and celebrates as the crowd roars behind him.
