The first shot of Adrenaline under the VCW banner opens up with a shot of none other than Dennis Black, seated in front of a Golden Age flag. Seated behind him was Madison Cox, holding her newly minted VCW Womens Championship. Dennis looked more annoyed than usual. A frown was starting to become a permanent fixture on his face. 

Madison: I’d suggest messing around…but you don’t look like-

Dennis: Where is Scott?

Dennis interrupted, causing Madison to sigh and look away from him.

Madison: I have no idea. But I’ve sent Lawrence to look for him. You really haven’t spoken to him since the Roulette?

Dennis: If we had, I’d be in jail.

Madison: ….Fair point.

Dennis: You know, I make talent. I give people the world, and what do they do? They screw me. Beaux, Kent, and Scott. All three of them got to the highest parts of this business off of MY name. MY work. THIS is how Scott repays me?

Madison: Well-

Dennis: It was rhetorical, go find Scott.

Madison cleared her throat, and stood up slowly. 

Madison: This will all get fixed. I assure you.

Dennis motioned for her to leave, and the scene shifted to ringside.

The camera opens up with Ahmed standing in the middle of the ring. The crowd cheers the fierce warrior on while he grabs a microphone.

Ahmed: I appreciate the support from everyone here tonight. It was my goal to enter the Royal Roulette and win………

Ahmed chants start to fill the arena as he just takes it all in for a moment before he continues.

Ahmed: That plan didn’t exactly work now did it? I stayed there after the match and thought about the blood, the sweat, and the tears were all left in the ring. My blood stained that arena but dammit I went as long as I could!

Thank you Ahmed chants fill the arena. Ahmed bows to the crowd showing them support back.

Ahmed: But now what do I do? I have earned support from all of you, I have earned respect from the guys and girls backstage, and now there is only one thing I want more than anything…….

Ahmed turns around and stares at the Wrestle Elite sign as the crowd erupts.

???: You earned the respect of bums backstage did you?

Scott Diamond steps out from behind the stage to receive an ovation of boos coming his way.

Scott: Shut up with this already, I’m here to address the pretender in that ring.

You suck chants fill the arena as Scott looks annoyed.

Scott: Ahmed you bled all over the place and just happened to be the runner up in the Royal Roulette and you think that accomplished something? Didn’t you still lose?

Scott starts to laugh.

Ahmed: Didn’t you lose to a guy for the second time that same night?

Scott immediately stops laughing and spits his gum out at an audience member to receive more boos. Scott has a smug look on his face.

Scott: I am one of the most decorated superstars this company has ever seen. You dare look at me and compare yourself? That sign you stared at…….. That’s my sign. I am Mr. Elite. I am nine and zero at the show of shows. I am the man that put that show on the map year after year after year. I am the man that will have a high profile match at that show again when I am the one to send an old man past his prime packing once and for all.

Ahmed interrupts Scott.

Ahmed: Yeah yeah yeah, you have daddy issues and that is my problem how? You see you interrupted me here tonight. That must mean you’re looking for something. That must mean you want to get in this ring and give me a wrestling lesson right? You want to show me how things are done from “Mr. Elite”? Or are you going to keep standing up there talking about your next therapy session to everyone?

Ahmed tosses the microphone up the ramp and a pissed off Scott drops the microphone and walks towards the ring looking like we have an impromptu match!

HARDCASTLE   v  ARES  v  Asylum

The audience was still buzzing about the closing moments of the main event, only to have their ears hear the theme of the inaugural VCW World Champion, Dennis Black. Dennis stood in the center of the ring, showered with a mixture of cheers and disapproval from the audience. Madison, who was still nursing her bruises from her match earlier in the evening, remained in the corner, holding both of their Championships. The VCW power couple had arrived!

Dennis lifted the mic to his lips, and was immediately met with ‘Mike Diamond’ chants. 

Dennis: And where is he, besides hiding from me?

Dennis grinned as the rain of boo’s continued. 

Dennis: So here I stand, your first VCW World Champion. As if…there was another choice? Should I be thankful? 

Dennis looked to Madison. Madison smirked. 

Dennis: Should I be thankful? Really? You can change the letters of the company every year for the next decade and the CHOICE isn’t really a choice at all. You go with your star. The needle mover. The best damn professional wrestler to grace a mat. 

Dennis motioned for the camera to come closer and zoom in on his face. 

Dennis: The letters may change. But not me. I am the Alpha, I am the Omega. I am your world heavyweight champion. Learn to love it-

The lights dimmed momentarily, and the scene began to focus on a view of the stage as Mike Diamond walked from behind the curtain and met with a standing ovation as he walked down the ramp and got into the ring with Dennis Black. The two mega stars stare at each other intensely for several moments before Diamond speaks. 

Diamond: Dennis Black…….. 

Mike looks around the arena as the Diamond chants pour out from the crowd and Dennis Black looks annoyed. 

Diamond: You asked for me and here I am. I’m not running. I’m not hiding. I’m standing right here face to face and telling you that you need to really think about what you ask for. You were mad because I didn’t enter the Royal Roulette, but hell I don’t need to be the winner of that to stand in this ring and issue the challenge to your face. 

The crowd fills with yes chants even before Diamond can issue the challenge. 

Diamond: Dennis Black versus Mike Diamond to headline Wrestle Elite ten! 

The crowd erupts going absolutely nuts. 

Diamond: I will take my son’s streak and then go on and show you why I am the best in this ring today…….. but you already know that because you can’t seem to beat me when it’s one on one now can you? 

Diamond and Black just stare intensely at each other while the crowd is blowing the roof off the building with the noise they are making. 

Diamond: What do you say huh? Do you want to be a part of the biggest match in wrestling history at the tenth anniversary of Wrestle Elite? Can you ego handle being on the losing side of that match? Especially when you are going up against one of the greatest performers in Wrestle Elites history. Every match I’ve been a part of has been the most viewed matches of all time. I’ve been the cover athlete for the games multiple years in a row, people absolutely love me and that must drive you crazy Black. So you sit there and you think about all of that. Think about all the times you lost to me. Think about the pressure you are going to feel when these fans are screaming my name and not yours. Think about the fact that no matter where we have gone, I have always been better than you whenever we face off. 

Diamond chants pour out for the fans as an unrattled Dennis Black looks around annoyed and then goes to answer. 

Black: I acc…….

Before he can even finish his sentence, Dennis is interrupted by Ares. He walks down the ramp and stands outside the ring to talk. 

Ares: So this is what we are doing now? Championship matches should be earned. Not just handed out to trailer trash. I, Ares have earned the right to challenge Dennis Black because I had an incredible and dominant run with the Atlantic championship. I was a fighting champion that dominated the competition and now I have my eyes set on a new championship for sure. 

Ares stares at Madison holding both championships still. Dennis turns his attention to Ares. 

Black: Are you kidding me right now? Two men are tryi……

Dennis is cut off once again by Fenrir who steps out on the ramp he walks about halfway down the ramp eyeballing Madison holding the championship belts. 

Fenrir: The gods have spoken on what must happen next. They look down upon us wanting to witness a great battle. A great war is brewing let me tell you, but Dennis Black I pillage and plunder what I usually want, but for you I will make an exception. For you I will be the one to challenge you and we can hear the crack of Odin, the thunder of Thor, and the……

Before Fenrir can even finish he is interrupted by Sexton as the annoyance on Dennis Black’s face says it all. Sexton steps into the stage. 

Sexton: Somebody here is talking about cracking and thunder, and those two things are in my wheelhouse for sure. 

Sexton stares at Dennis and starts to rub his own chest. 

Sexton: All of this right here can be yours at Wrestle Elite Mr. Black if you want to come visit a true crack all you would need to do is bring the thunder. 

Dennis Black takes a step back away from Sexton looking really freaked out. Meanwhile the camera looks at the crown and they have exploded as Ahmed is in the crowd making some noise with them. 

Ahmed: All this talk about wanting to get a shot at the champion has me back there going shit what do I gotta do to get my name on that short list? Earlier today I beat “Mr. Elite” isn’t he your understudy Black? Isn’t he from your seed Mike? 

Mike and Dennis stare up at Ahmed giving them their full attention. 

Ahmed: You see I told everyone earlier that I want to be on that show. 

Ahmed points to the Wrestle Elite sign hanging from the other side of the arena as the crowd is going crazy. 

Ahmed: But now you mean to tell me I could have a chance to be the headline match? I am on a roll that just can’t be stopped. So Black if you are going to choose someone, look no further than the hungry wolf standing right here. 

Ahmed chants fill the arena as both Mike and Black look around surprised for the support of Ahmed from the fans. 

Stephen Matthews steps on the ramp from backstage.

Matthews: As the GM of this show we are going to handle this the only way you guys know how. The main event for next week will feature……..

The crowd starts with Matthews chants as he breaks down and laughs.

Matthews: No guys I won’t be wrestling don’t worry I won’t subject you to that. But next week we will take Fenrir, Sexton, Ahmed, Ares, and Mike and make them earn their spot. We will have a gauntlet eliminator match and the winner will headline Wrestle Elite with Dennis Black! 

Everyone is looking around at each other. Dennis grabs his championship from Madison and holds it up high in the air. He turns in the ring and gets face to face with Mike holding the championship right above his head and talks to him without a microphone. 

Dennis: Once you’re done playing with these guys….. I will see you at Wrestle Elite Ten to give you the loss that you are craving so bad. 

Diamond grins at Black as the camera pans out to show all the participants for next week’s Gauntlet Eliminator as the show goes off air.
